Timothy L. Garvey
Timothy L. Garvey graduated with honors from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in 2017. He previously received his Bachelors of Arts degree from Marquette University, where he studied Psychology and Philosophy. While at Marquette, he instructed and led a Korean Martial arts club, and served on the Board of Club Sports Directors.
During Law School he specialized in criminal, constitutional, immigration, and international law. He attended United Nations sessions on the Commission for Population and Development, and assisted in drafting briefs submitted to the United States Supreme Court. He has represented clients in front of the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. He also received the Dean’s Award for outstanding performance in the practice of Negotiation. Later, he worked with the 1st Judicial District Public Defender’s office on both misdemeanor and felony level criminal offences. He joined the firm in 2018, and practices civil and criminal litigation. His hobbies include reading, hunting, cooking, and spending time with family.
